Berlin Bar

“Berlin? I’m going nowhere near… BERLIN!”

If you remember this classic line from Eurotrip, then this is one for you.

If you don’t, then it’s still a great place to go for a date that’s a bit quirky and different.

To enter this bar you must ring a bell and wait for ze German barkeep to invite you in. Once inside you will discover two sides to the bar – one representing East Germany, and the other representing the West as they were 46 years ago.

On the east side, you will find lush plush white banquettes, chandeliers and luxurious seating, while the west side presents bunker-style décor, bunk beds and even a bathtub!

The mix of cocktails, beers and wines caters to all audiences, as does the bar menu with large portions to share.

The great thing about this place is you can have a classy, romantic date on the East side, and then a more silly, fun-filled time on the opposite end of the bar. Rarely does one place cater to both experiences, however, these guys manage to pull it off!

We would suggest going on a weeknight to have a relaxing and romantically quirky night, or on a weekend for a more buzzing vibe.
